3. Cookies

The internet pages of Gibion AI GmbH use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on a computer system via an Internet browser.

Numerous Internet pages and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters by which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited Internet pages and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognised and identified via the unique cookie ID.

Through the use of cookies, the Gibion AI GmbH can provide the users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting.<7p>

By means of a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimised for the benefit of the user. As already mentioned, cookies enable us to recognise the users of our website. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. For example, the user of a website that uses cookies does not have to re-enter his or her access data each time he or she visits the website, because this is done by the website and the cookie stored on the user’s computer system. Another example is the cookie of a shopping basket in an online shop. The online shop remembers the items that a customer has placed in the virtual shopping basket via a cookie.

The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. Furthermore, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time via an internet browser or other software programmes. This is possible in all common internet browsers. If the data subject deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be fully usable.

4. collection of general data and information

The website of the Gibion AI GmbH. KG collects a series of general data and information with each call-up of the website by a data subject or automated system. This general data and information is stored in the log files of the server. The following data may be collected: (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer), (4) the sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website, (5) the date and time of an access to the website, (6) an Internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system and (8) other similar data and information that serve to avert danger in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.

When using these general data and information, the Gibion AI GmbH does not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is needed (1) to deliver the contents of our website correctly, (2) to optimise the contents of our website and the advertising for these, (3) to ensure the long-term operability of our information technology systems and the technology of our website, and (4) to provide law enforcement authorities with the information necessary for prosecution in the event of a cyber attack. This anonymously collected data and information is used by the Gibion AI GmbH on the one hand, and on the other hand, with the aim of increasing the data protection and data security of our enterprise, so that we can ultimately ensure an optimal level of protection for the personal data we process. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from any personal data provided by a data subject.

5. Who Has Access To Your Data

If you are not a registered client for our site, there is no personal information we can retain or view regarding yourself.

If you are a client with a registered account, your personal information can be accessed by:

6. Third Party Access to Your Data

We don’t share your data with third-parties in a way as to reveal any of your personal information like email, name, etc. The only exceptions to that rule are for partners we have to share limited data with in order to provide the services you expect from us.

Collection of anonymous user data

Our website uses web analysis technologies from Adobe Systems Inc. and Google Inc (“Google” – Google Analytics and Google Remarketing). Data is collected and stored for marketing and optimisation purposes, from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. These usage profiles are used to analyse visitor behaviour and are evaluated to improve and tailor our offer to suit requirements. Cookies may be used for this purpose. These are small text files that are stored locally on the visitor’s computer and thus enable recognition when visiting our website again. The pseudonymised user profiles are not combined with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the explicit consent of the person concerned, which must be given separately. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. IP anonymisation is active on this website. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which will prevent the future collection, use and processing of your data when visiting this website: Deactivate Google Analytics. For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/ or http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html and Adobe Systems Inc.: https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policy.html.

We cooperate with third-party providers (e.g. affiliate network Affili.net) in order to be able to offer affiliation programmes and to log advertising successes at Pixum. These third-party providers only receive anonymised data that is not linked to identifiable persons, e.g. the total value of an order.

<

We use so-called tracking pixels (small graphics) on our pages to learn more about the behaviour of our customers on our website so that we can constantly optimise our website for you. When a page is opened, the tracking pixel is loaded from a server on the Internet and registered with us along with the IP address you use and, if applicable, your cookie ID. This information is not passed on to third parties. To prevent pixel-counting on our pages, you can use tools such as webwasher, bugnosys or AdBlock.

7. How Long We Retain Your Data For

When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

8. Security Measures

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personally identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.

In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.
